The weather is warming up here so we figured this would be a great time to share with you one our favorite ways to stay hydrated, refreshed and recharged! Please accept our apologies in advance, but this is probably not technically considered a juice recipe nor do you have to have to do some kind of extreme detox.
So then why did we call this post a simple daily detox juice?
Well let’s start by taking about what happens when your body is dehydrated. It is kind of like when your car is low on oil… Right off the bat, your organs have to start working much harder to function. The extra work takes a toll on your body making you feel tired and sluggish. Dehydration has also been proven to cause constant cravings, constipation, wrinkles, fatigue and cellulite. The most common symptoms of dehydration include headaches, fatigue, dry skin, muscle cramping, dry mouth and lips, darker urination, mood swings, and inability to concentrate. Sounds super appealing right?
On the other hand, when your body is hydrated everything starts to function properly like a well-oiled (and good looking!) machine. It’s like going from an old beat-up El Camino to a brand spanking hot off the car lot Corvette. Your body has a much easier time functioning and you feel much better overall. Then of course, we took it one step further and added loads of extra flavor, vitamins and minerals found in fresh fruits for the following benefits:
· Healthy glowing skin
· Kidney and liver cleansing
· Weight Loss
· Extra Energy!
· Reduced Cravings
So now, not only are you getting the oil changed in your hot new ride, but you are also getting the carpets cleaned, the tires waxed and the leather shined. You can drive down the street with confidence, turning heads left and right like “Hey look at this body… err I mean car!”
Here are some of our favorite flavor combinations!
· Lime/Orange/Strawberry
· Peach/Strawberry/Lemon
· Lemon/Lime/Orange
· Peach/Orange/Lemon
So next time you think about swinging by the gas station for a soda, juice or some crappy brand of oil (gasp!)… stop!, fill up with the good stuff instead then go enjoy the ride of life!
These look delicious. I don’t see any recipes for them. Would you please share how you make them?
Hi there! Its just water and a mixture of the fruits listed on the bottom of the post. Hope you enjoy = )
