When it comes to powerful blenders, Vitamix blenders top the list. These popular, high-performance blenders deliver both style and function. Vitamix has been around since the 1920s serving both restaurants and consumers. Their blenders are designed and made in America. And one “fun fact” about them is that they were one of the very first products to appear in an infomercial.
Vitamix has consistently delivered a quality product for almost a century. While each blender series is slightly different from the next, one common thread among them all is that they do what they are designed to do, which is pulverize virtually anything and everything that you put inside of them.
This article highlights the most popular Vitamix blender models in 2017 and compares the most important features of each model. We focused on the following Vitamix blender models:

Vitamix Blender Comparisons
If you are sold on the Vitamix brand of blenders, but not sure which one is right for you, use this guide to help you make the decision that best suits you.
5200 vs 5300
Both the 5200 and 5300 are part of the C-Series of Vitamix blenders and have many similar features. However, there are some differences between the two. The most noticeable difference is the containers. The 5200 has the Classic Vitamix 64oz container, whereas the 5300, which is a newer model, comes with a low-profile container designed to fit easily under cabinets.
The motor in the 5300 is a little more powerful (but it is also louder). Both blenders perform very well. The 5300 includes a few newer features, but the 5200 works just as well and it is less expensive since it is an older model.
6300 vs 5300
Vitamix’s 6300 belongs to the C-series with the 5300, so these two blenders have much in common. But they also have several notable differences.
The 5300 includes a low-profile container that fits under cabinets whereas the 6300 offers the tall, classic container. Each blender model holds 64 ounces. Another visible difference between the blenders is the interface. The 6300 includes presets for smoothies, frozen desserts, and hot soups. The 5300 does not have these presets, but it does have a slightly more powerful motor than the 6300.
5300 vs 6500
Both the Vitamix 5300 and 6500 blenders are low profile and fit beneath your cabinets. Both models offer durable, 4-inch diameter blades that blend foods quickly and efficiently. So, if these two are so similar, what distinguishes one from the next?
The first thing is the price. The 6500 is one of the more expensive blenders by Vitamix. Another difference between these two is their interface. The 6500 offers three programmed settings customized for hot soups, smoothies, and frozen desserts. The 5300 does not offer these convenient presets. Both blenders are a great choice and they each come in a variety of colors to fit seamlessly into any kitchen.
5300 vs 7500
The 5300 holds its own against many Vitamix blenders. So how does it compare to the 7500? Both are great blenders, however, the 7500 is considered part of the “next generation” models.
The Vitamix 7500 features a high-powered motor like the 5300, but the motor inside the 7500 operates with significantly less sound. Both blenders offer low-profile containers and neither blender model includes programmed settings for smoothies or soups. As a bonus, the Vitamix 7500 offers a DVD instruction guide and recipe book. The 5300 is the more budget-friendly blender. It is equally powerful, but a bit noisier than the 7500.
6500 vs 7500
Vitamix’s 6500 and 7500 blenders both deliver high-performance as they blend, chop, and pulverize. And these two models are very similar in design and ability. They both have low profile containers and powerful motors. However, there are some slight differences.
The 6500 comes with three preset buttons for smoothies, hot soup, and desserts. These programmed settings allow the user to hit a button and the blender motor creates the perfect speed for your chosen setting. The 7500 model doesn’t offer these programmed settings. But, the 7500 does have the next generation motor, which is much quieter than C-series Vitamix blenders like the 6500.
