We love chocolate. We love it a LOT.
But recently, there is this little thing called um oh yeah, trying-to-eat-better that has been getting in the way of our love. You know that thing right? Yeah it is kind of hard to teach your kiddos healthy eating habits when its only 6 o’clock in the morning and mommy is already reaching for her secret stash of dark chocolate chips hidden in the back of the freezer behind the frozen broccoli. No one ever looks back there right?
But since we are determined to get our families eating better, we have had to become a bit more creative with our chocolate obsession.
I am sure by now you have put two and two (or one and one) together and realized this Skinny Cocoa Crisp Cereal is the result of all the above. We literally just took some organic honey nut cheerios and mixed it up with a bunch of yummy things like Nutella, chia seeds, rolled oats and shredded coconut to make a delicious crunchy bowl of morning cheer. I am sure you could mix in other things like almond butter, flax seeds, Chex cereal, etc. The options are unlimited really.
And the chocolate milk leftover in your bowl afterwards. Ohhh my! There are no words my friends. Just give me a straw. Or a spoon. Or better yet, just let me drink it straight out of the bowl because we all know that is by far the best way.
So yeah. This whole trying-to-eat-better thing just got a heck of a lot easier thanks to Skinny Cocoa Crisp Cereal and Mommy no longer needs to hide her dark chocolate chips in the back of the freezer. It is officially OK to enjoy a healthy bowl of chocolate. Even in the mornings!
